Bird Watching

Recognised as an important birding destination, Nagarhole National Park has over 200 species of birds including the ‘critically endangered’ oriental white-backed vulture, the ‘vulnerable’ lesser adjutant greater spotted eagle and the Nilgiri wood-pigeon.

Kabini and the areas around Red Earth Kabini offer great birding opportunities. Our in-house naturalist will accompany guests in all these activities.

Every morning at 6.30 am after a cup of Coffee or Tea, the day starts with the bird watching activity – aptly named Chorus Walks. Starting from the resort, our walk proceeds to explore the birds in the property, along the waters of Kabini and the fields of the neighbouring villages.
